Property Manager

Hannah Jones is the Property Manager and lives down the street. Her phone # is 340-201-1656 and you are welcome to call or text for ANY REASON. Her priority is you having a wonderful stay so do not be shy! For non emergency questions replies may be limited to 9am-9pm

If it is an absolutely emergency and you cannot reach Hannah, please call her mom Lorraine who lives on island at 340-514-9974

Trash

There is no trash pick up so please bag your trash and take it with you on your way to town and dump in the large metal trash bins next to the basketball court across from E & C Gas Station.

**The island recycles aluminum cans and platics 1, 2 & 5. PLEASE separate your recyclables I will take them to the recycling station once you check out. There is a Recycle bin under your sink for this purpose

Water

All of our water in the house is collected rainwater stored in large cisterns under the house. We filter it to use and drink! It is completely safe.

So, please conserve whenever possible. If it runs out, we have to buy a truckload of water which is inconvenient for you and expensive for us. Enjoy it! (But don’t waste it:)

Electricity

Sometimes the electricity will go out without warning, this is common in the islands. Do not be alarmed! We have provided you with candles, a flashlight and drinking water in your pantry under the microwave. When the power goes out, please do not use the faucets or flush the toilet because we use electricity to pump the water out of the cisterns and they can burn out.

Bugs

We have 2 bugs that may cause you to itch during your stay, mosquitoes and “no-see-um’s”. We find that the orange can of Off is useful for these bugs. “No-see-um’s” like to come out in the morning and at sunset time. Try to keep your door closed to keep them out of the house. 

Taxis

Taxis are available to pick you up and are readily available in Cruz Bay to bring you back. Please keep in mind taxi rides do need to be planned in advance and will not be available “last minute”

The following taxi drivers know where the house is and are personal colleagues of mine, just let them know you are staying at Hannah’s House next to THE HILLS

Internet

Your Internet is Paradise Found and the password is paradise2018.

Safe

There is a safe in the walk in closet. Code is : 36863

Pool

Pool is salt water. There are 2 outdoor showers for your convenience. Please do not bring glassware to the pool. There is plastic glass/dishware for the pool area. The pool waterfall is on a timer and goes on daily at 8:00 am and off at 6:00 pm.

Liquor cabinet

Please feel free to use the liquor in the liquor cabinet, it is for you to enjoy! Feel free to leave your leftover liquor in there when you depart.

Ice Maker

There is an ice maker in the freezer, although it tends to fill up fast so if you see it full, please raise the metal bar to turn it off.

AC

There are 2 AC units in your villa, one in the kitchen and one in the bedroom. We ask you kindly to not turn off the AC. If it is too cold, please just turn it up to 79.

TV

Both TVS are smart. There is a NETFLIX account for you to use during your stay, if it logs out for some reason, the account is PARADISEFOUNDVILLAS@GMAIL.COM and password is Paradise2018. The TV in the living room can also connect to your phone via bluetooth to play your own music.

Towels

Pool and beach towels have been provided for you. Please do not take the white bath towels to the beach/pool. If you need additional towels please let us know. 

Departure

Check out is at 10:30 am. Please load and start the dishwasher, wash any remaining dishes and take your trash when you go, my housekeeper will take care of everything else! Leave the door unlocked and the key on the counter. Any food left behind will not go to waste.
